Hi. I'm Joe Hotchkiss and I work as a computer programmer. Ok, officially I'm a "Senior Software Engineer" but I'm quite happy with "computer programmer".

For recreation - and to keep fit - I usually play badminton several times a week and go scuba diving as often as possible. In practice, that's about once or twice a month from March to October. Winter weather tends to make life unpleasant for divers in the UK.

This web site is a rewrite from scratch, so there's not much content at the moment. The main push for writing something again was to show how I've been processing some of my diving photos.

I don't have enough web space to host much in the way of video, so YouTube seemed the obvious place to put it. Links to videos here. I've also added a Facebook entry.

I've been taking pictures since I was about 7 years old. I was born in 1959, so that's quite a few pictures and I've gone through several cameras.
